It is no secret that a profound crisis has taken hold of the country. There is no value frame and no centre to guide the destiny of Sri Lanka. People continue to drift asunder with no moral authority, direction or leadership. They have lost faith in the political system, which is corrupt to the core and does not inspire confidence.
