It is no secret that the President's intervention resulted in the APRC to set aside the long-term constitutional proposals that it was developing over the last 18 months and to write an alternative document recommending the implementation of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution on an urgent practical measure while this is inadequate to solve the national question, nevertheless, if at least this is done promptly and sincerely it will be a step forward.
